Boys Sport
AIC Sport
Boys at St Peters Springfield are encouraged to participate in sport and give their best. Team numbers are based on demand for each sport, allowing all boys to play in a sport of their choice with optimal playing time. Sport is fundamental to a boy's development, physically, mentally and spiritually. We believe that sport builds character and assists boys to realise their potential, passions and purpose in life.
St Peters is a member of the formal inter-school sporting competition known as AIC (Associated Independent Colleges). There are eight schools in this competition and matches are played on a rotational basis, whereby all schools compete against each other throughout the season. The table below provides a guide to the sports offered to Years 5–12 boys throughout the school year. Other sports for boys are also offered at St Peters, but they are not official AIC Sports. These include:
- Golf in Term 4 (single-day tournament)
- Rowing in (Terms 1 and 2)
