Our founding teachers have been with us for 13 years of growth, faith and inspiration. Attending to student needs, they share in their experiences and help them learn. All of our teachers share a passion for the highest quality of Christian education, they’re enthusiastic and caring and make themselves available to students and families. We share our founding teacher stories as part of our 13-year celebrations as the first students who have completed all of their schooling, from Prep to Year 12, at St Peters Springfield.

​The St Peters Parents and Friends Committee (P&F) works with the College to celebrate Springfield’s school spirit and cultural diversity. The committee, which is comprised of dedicated volunteers, works to develop partnerships to ensure students benefit from these community networks, skills, resources, and expertise.

The new Junior High Precinct was officially opened on Friday 4 September by Mrs Charis Mullen MP, Member for Jordan and Reverend Paul Smith, Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Australia Queensland District.

The annual St Peters Multicultural Week is one of the College’s key calendar events. Celebrated, typically, as a whole-of-College event, the pinnacle of the week is the Parade of Nations ceremony. This year, we united online to celebrate what makes our community unique: our cultural diversity.

Zac H., ​Year 12 student from St Peters Springfield, took the opportunity to ask best friend Hope W. to the senior formal in a spectacular way. With the idea that a special invitation was needed to create an impact, Zac researched Hope’s favourite movies and came up with some unforgettable moments replayed throughout the ‘invitation week’.

During Term 2 the College was thrilled to present badges to our newly appointed Junior High House Captains. The role of our Year 9 Junior High House Captains is significant as it presents a great opportunity for students to serve as well as refine their leadership and organisational skills.

St Peters has a proud 75-year history of creating and nurturing strong community connections. With the outbreak of COVID-19, many of our College departments have been faced with how to continue to cultivate these connections despite physical distancing restrictions. Our Springfield graduates have inspiring success stories to share with our community—meet Chris Wise, 2018 St Peters Springfield graduate. Chris is now learning the exciting field of network security and defence to be a cyber security specialist.
