2025 Academic Results
St Peters Lutheran College proudly celebrates the outstanding academic achievements of the Class of 2025. These exceptional results reflect the dedication, perseverance, and Plus Ultra attitude of our students, strengthened by the support of their families and the expert guidance of our committed teaching staff.
Results Highlights
This year, St Peters is delighted to recognise a record 70 Scholars from the Class of 2025 — students who achieved an ATAR or equivalent of 96.00 and above. This outstanding achievement underscores the College’s continued commitment to academic excellence across diverse learning pathways.
Key Statistics
- 7% of students received an ATAR of 99 and above (top 1% in Queensland)
- 31% received an ATAR of 95 and above (top 5% in Queensland)
- 53% received an ATAR of 90 and above (top 10% in Queensland)
- The median ATAR for the cohort was 90.5
(NB: These results include all students undertaking QCAA or IBDP courses who made their results available to the College.)
Excellence Across Diverse Pathways
St Peters Indooroopilly offers senior students a range of academic pathways tailored to individual strengths and aspirations, including the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) subject options, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), and vocational education and training (VET).
Of the 2025 Senior cohort:
- 10% of students pursued the IBDP, with the highest score achieved being 45 out of 45.
- 98% of students successfully attained a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).
- 27% completed a VET Certificate or Diploma qualification, gaining valuable industry-recognised credentials alongside their school studies.
Outstanding Subject Scores
Academic excellence was evident across a wide range of subjects in 2025.
- 10 students were awarded a QCE Subject Achievement Commendation for achieving the highest result in QLD for one or more General subjects.
- 30 students were awarded a QCE Certificate of Academic Commendation for achieving As in 6 General subjects.
- 11 perfect subject scores of 100/100 were achieved.
- 33 subject scores of 99/100 were achieved.
Recognising Individual Excellence
QCAA Duces
Congratulations to our 2025 QCAA Duces, Mulan Ma and Sylvia Du, who each attained an outstanding ATAR 99.95. They were among only 34 students statewide to achieve the highest possible ATAR in 2025.
In addition, Mulan was one of just 30 students in Queensland to receive a Queensland Premier’s Academic Excellence Award.
Mulan will pursue a Bachelor of Biomedicine with guaranteed entry to a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne, while Sylvia will commence a Bachelor of Medical Science with provisional entry to a Doctor of Medicine at Griffith University.
IB Dux and Proxime Accessit
Congratulations also to our 2025 IB Dux, Ruby Sylvester, who achieved a perfect IB score of 45, equivalent to an ATAR 99.95. Ruby will study a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney, with aspirations to pursue a challenging academic pathway and make a positive contribution to her community.
A special mention goes to our IB Proxime Accessit, Ethen Chen, who achieved an IB score of 42.
Tertiary Offers and Future Pathways
The Class of 2025 has been offered a diverse range of tertiary study opportunities across leading universities in Queensland, interstate, and internationally. In Queensland, our graduates have secured places in highly competitive courses, reflecting our academic
For QCAA students, the top three tertiary study areas offered were:
- Management and Commerce (including Banking and Finance)
- Health (including Pharmacy, Speech Pathology and Veterinary Science)
- Engineering
For IB students, the top three tertiary study areas were:
- Society and Culture (including Law, Economics and Psychology)
- Management and Commerce
- Natural and Physical Sciences (including Mathematics, Physics and Laboratory Technology)
These trends demonstrate the wide-ranging interests of our students and their readiness to contribute meaningfully across professional fields.
