Since 2005, the St Peters Performer of the Year Competition has celebrated outstanding young musical talent, growing into a highlight of our cultural calendar. This year, more than 80 students from Years 7–12 auditioned for a place in the Concerto Final, each delivering performances of remarkable skill and artistry.

On Sunday 31 August at 4:00pm, our five finalists will take the stage, performing some of the best-loved works in the concerto repertoire.

They’ll be joined by the St Peters Symphony Orchestra, who will also perform the stirring 4th movement of Sibelius’ Symphony No. 2.

• Coco L (Year 8), Mendelssohn Violin Concerto (3rd Mvt)
• Emily R (Year 9), Mozart Piano Concerto No. 13 (1st Mvt)
• Nathan N (Year 11), Saint-Saens Cello Concerto (3rd Mvt)
• Samuel W (Year 7), Grieg Piano Concerto (1st Mvt)

Tickets are $5.00 each, and proceeds from the concert will be donated to a charity nominated by the Concerto winner.
