Becoming the Last One Standing

Guest Speaker

Share some quality time with your daughter and join us for an inspiring Father-Daughter Breakfast with our guest speaker, Nicole Jukes.

Nicole wears many hats — lawyer, run coach, mother, domestic violence advocate, ambassador and sponsored athlete for various sporting organisations, and an Australian ultrarunner. But Nicole's journey to success wasn't always smooth sailing. A decade ago, Nicole's life took a heartbreaking turn with the loss of her first child. However, this tragedy became the catalyst for her remarkable transformation. Fuelled by resilience and determination, Nicole embarked on a journey of self-discovery, unlocking her true potential along the way.

Nicole's Talk

Share her incredible journey and its culmination in her greatest running achievement: becoming the first Australian female to win a Backyard Ultra, a gruelling race format where participants run 6.7km every hour on the hour until only one remains standing. Nicole's story, Becoming the Last One Standing, is one of resilience, perseverance, and triumph over adversity. Through her experiences, she imparts invaluable lessons on turning tragedy into triumph, inspiring others to unleash their latent potential and become the best versions of themselves.
