Important Note for Year 7 2020 Academic Scholarship Candidates (INDOOROOPILLY cAMPUS):

In 2019, at St Peters Indooroopilly, a class has been created in Year 7 to respond to the unique needs of academically gifted students in that year level. This class has been called the Bonhoeffer Class. The aim of this class is to encourage and support identified students to achieve their potential. Students will be encouraged to learn by experiencing challenges beyond the level of regular classes. Challenges will be provided through promoting more abstract reasoning, complexity, and using a combination of enrichment and extension.

By stimulating students and supporting them to learn how to learn, students will be guided and encouraged to move towards being autonomous learners. The Bonhoeffer Class will be continued in Year 7 in 2020. It is strongly advised that students entering Year 7 in 2020 who wish to be considered for the Bonhoeffer Class that they sit the 2020 Academic Scholarship Test.
