Year 12 Hospitality Excursion: Kitchen Confidence

Year 12 Hospitality students enjoyed their final hospitality excursion to Kitchen Confidence Cookery Studio at Fortitude Valley. They produced an amazing four-course Turkish lunch alongside Head Chef, Wayne.

These students have been working on their Certificate II in Hospitality, which will provide them with an industry qualification and experience to take them into the workforce; whether in a part-time capacity as they continue further study, or into apprenticeships.

The menu included:

  • lamb and feta gozleme with pomegranate and tomato dip;
  • smoky chicken skewers;
  • lamb and apricot meatballs;
  • baked eggplant with tomato and cinnamon;
  • tahini and pomegranate yoghurt dip; and
  • raspberry and rose trifle.
