I would like to extend our sincere thanks to parents, caregivers, and staff in the Primary Years for your patience, understanding, and flexibility following the recent storm and unexpected College closure. Your support helped us keep our community safe and ensured a smooth return to learning. We truly appreciate your cooperation and resilience!
Book Fair
The Primary Years Book Fair is being held in Week 6, beginning on Monday 10 November, in the Sparklab in the Lower Primary precinct and in Woodrow Library in the Upper Primary precinct. Last sales will occur before school on Friday 14 November. We are partnering with independent bookstore, Where the Wild Things Are. If you wish to browse their selection in the lead up to the event, their website has many curated book lists.
Once again, we will be hosting our popular Parent Book Fair evening on Monday 10 November, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Sparklab with light refreshments provided. Teacher Librarians Lotte ten Hacken, Megan Daley and Rose Hoger will each speak about their favourite reads of 2025 for students in Prep to Year 6 and share a few favourite adult titles for the upcoming summer holiday period. More details and a link to RSVP to come.
A range of books and other high-quality products will be available for sale at the Book Fair. Both cash and cards are accepted. It’s the perfect place to do your Christmas shopping and stock up on holiday reads for the family. We hope to see you there!

A Visit from Pevan & Sarah
Our youngest students were full of excitement and laughter last week when Pevan and Sarah came to visit! The children sang, danced, and joined in the fun, creating wonderful memories filled with music, movement, and joy. It was a delightful experience that had everyone smiling from ear to ear!
We also received the most beautiful email from Sarah following their visit: "We felt the show was a huge success, the students and teachers were so engaged, and it was wonderful to see everyone wearing their tiger ears and joining in with such enthusiasm. I say this every year (and made sure to tell them again yesterday), but we see over 20,000 students on our tour annually, and St Peters is always a standout. You should be so proud of your students, they’re kind, polite and full of joy. It’s also such a delight to see so many educators up and dancing along with their classes!"
The photos reflect the joy of the morning!
