We’re excited to be underway with the AIC Track & Field season, having already competed at two meets, and we look forward to welcoming even more Year 5 and 6 boys to the next two. Whether your son is a keen runner, jumper, thrower, or simply wants to give it a go, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, demonstrate a positive attitude, and enjoy being part of our team.
The data recorded at these meets will determine final team selections for the AIC Track & Field Championships, which are selection-only based on performance and consistency across the lead-up meets.

PRIMARY SPORT WRAP-UP
AIC Rugby League
Our Primary Rugby League boys have two home games remaining, and it would be great to see lots of St Peters students supporting the boys for these games at 8:00am on Harts Rd Oval.
AIC Primary Basketball
Year 6 faced tough fixtures against Villanova last week—an excellent Basketball school—and the boys did themselves proud. On Monday, they took on a rescheduled Round 6 match against St Edmunds, but rain brought play to a halt halfway through. We look forward to seeing them back on court next week.
Year 5 hosted Villanova in a series of competitive games at home and played superbly. Their Round 6 match against ATC will take place on Thursday, 4 September.
AIC Primary Tennis
Round 5 proved a successful one and all teams had great results against Villanova. This week, the B teams have a BYE, and we wish our A teams the very best of luck playing ATC.
WDNA Netball Season Wrap-Up
This season, seven teams from Indooroopilly proudly represented St Peters in the WDNA Netball competition. Throughout the season, the girls have shown tremendous growth, developing their netball skills week by week through their training sessions. The players displayed great teamwork, sportsmanship, and pride during games each Saturday, and have embodied the spirit of St Peters both on and off the court.
A big thank you to our fantastic group of coaches and to the parent managers for their unwavering support and guidance throughout the season.
Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Coaches Awards, given to one player in each team, who has positively contributed to their team and consistently demonstrated the Plus Ultra values.
Finally, good luck to the teams heading into finals — we’re cheering you on all the way!
