A Year of Growth and Purpose
As we approach the final weeks of the 2025 school year, it is a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect and appreciate the journey we have taken together. This year has been a milestone in so many ways for our community, filled with growth, achievement, joy and shared purpose.
2025 marked the year St Peters Springfield proudly became an IB World School. This achievement represents more than a label — it reflects years of commitment, inquiry, professional learning and community partnership. Becoming an IB World School affirms the values we hold dear: developing curious, compassionate and independent learners who are equipped for an ever-changing world.
A Year of Growth and Purpose
Throughout 2025, our students have engaged deeply with their learning, demonstrating the attributes of a life-wide learner across classrooms, specialist areas and co-curricular opportunities. We have seen:
- confident communicators sharing ideas with clarity and courage
- reflective thinkers making meaningful connections across disciplines
- caring students demonstrating empathy and kindness toward one another
- principled young people taking responsibility for their choices
- inquirers asking rich questions and driving their own learning
Our staff have continued to embrace best practice, engaging in ongoing professional development and working collaboratively to strengthen our teaching and learning program.
Opportunities That Shaped Our Year
This year brought countless opportunities for students to learn, lead and shine. From camps, excursions and assemblies to cultural celebrations, performances and units of inquiry that sparked deep curiosity, each experience added richness to our school life.
We are grateful for:
- the partnerships with families who support learning at home and at school
- the trust you place in us each day to nurture and guide your children
- the moments of joy, discovery and challenge that helped our students grow
- the shared celebrations, milestones and successes that strengthened our community
2025 has truly been a year defined by togetherness and collective purpose.
Finishing Well: Keeping the Momentum
As we move into the final stretch of the term, we encourage our students to:
- continue striving for their personal best
- stay organised and focused
- reflect on how far they’ve come
- finish assessments and learning tasks with pride
- celebrate their achievements — both big and small
Finishing the year strong teaches resilience, responsibility and the satisfaction that comes from committing fully until the very end. It allows each child to step into the holidays knowing they have given their best.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude and Hope
Becoming an IB World School has set a new benchmark for what learning can look like at St Peters Springfield. As we look toward 2026, we do so with gratitude, for the opportunities of this year, the growth of our students, the dedication of our teachers and the unwavering partnership of our families.
Thank you for walking alongside us through this remarkable year. May the final weeks of term be filled with joy, reflection and celebration.
