Supporting Growth and Excellence Behind the Scenes
At St Peters Springfield, we recognise that a flourishing school community depends on efficient and effective operations behind the scenes. Our Springfield Corporate Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the College’s facilities, services, and processes uphold our mission of excellence in Christian co-education. Since the beginning of the year, the team has been focused on enhancing and sustaining vital operational areas across the College, ensuring our systems and resources continue to meet the evolving needs of our staff, students, and families.
Expanding the Facilities Team and Upgrading Our Campus
Recognising the importance of maintaining high-quality facilities, we are expanding our Facilities Team and recruiting additional staff to further enhance the maintenance and presentation of the College. These new team members will play a vital role in creating an environment where students and staff can thrive, reflecting our commitment to providing well-managed, functional, and welcoming spaces that enrich the student experience.
During the recent school break, significant improvements were completed across the campus. The student bathrooms on the concourse underwent a full renovation, transforming both the functionality and aesthetics of these facilities. This major project was successfully delivered thanks to the dedication and hard work of our team members and contractors, who worked tirelessly to complete the upgrades.
Additionally, the drainage system servicing the Junior High demountable classrooms was upgraded, with the building piping being lifted and new piping installed to improve water flow and reduce maintenance issues.
Work on the new gym space is also well underway. Enhancements to the flooring have been completed, and planning continues to prepare the area for student use. The Corporate Team continues to work closely with the Sports Department to ensure the project aligns with the College’s mission to foster resilience, confidence, and skill development in every student.
Looking Ahead
As we look toward the months ahead, the Corporate Team remains committed to ongoing improvement across our grounds and buildings. Planned projects and maintenance works will continue to enhance our learning environment, ensuring that St Peters Springfield remains a place where students, staff, and families can flourish together.
