Refreshing Our Campus
Improving our Learning Spaces
There is something special about walking into a freshly painted room. A renewed space feels brighter, cleaner and ready for what comes next. Over the past couple of terms, our science laboratories have been receiving a refresh, helping to create brighter learning spaces that our staff and students can feel proud of.
Two of our newly painted laboratories are already looking brighter, and we look forward to the final laboratory receiving its fresh coat of paint during the September break. The work forms part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and enhancing the College’s facilities and ensuring our students have well-presented learning spaces in which to learn, discover and explore.
While painting may seem like a simple change, the impact of a refreshed learning environment can be significant. Well-maintained and welcoming classrooms can create a positive atmosphere for learning and can contribute to a stronger sense of pride and belonging. Our classrooms and learning spaces are used every day and, over time, even the best-maintained rooms can begin to show signs of constant use. A fresh coat of paint provides rejuvenation, ensuring our school facilities continue to reflect the care and pride we have in our school.
The Next Chapter
As the year progresses, the Facilities Team remains committed to the ongoing improvement of the College’s buildings and grounds. While this work involves regular maintenance and smaller enhancements, there are also some exciting developments on the horizon, with a significant project planned for later in the year.
