St Peters Lutheran College offers a comprehensive cocurricular Sport program for students in the Primary Years through to the Senior School. The College community provides equipment and coaching for over 25 sports, and students have access to a range of sporting fields, courts and pools. St Peters is a member of a number of formal sporting associations. These include the Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association (QGSSSA), Brisbane School Girls Rowing Association (BSRA), for girls, and the Associated Independent Colleges (AIC), for boys. Our students also compete in a range of Inter-Lutheran, and various club (Western Districts Netball Association and Brisbane Waterpolo Incorporated) competitions throughout the year.

The overall wellbeing of our students is important to us at St Peters. Our Athletic Development Program (ADP) provides safe and structured programs for students to perform in a supervised environment, and our expert staff in the Sport Department are committed to honing the skills of our students. As a result, St Peters has produced multiple state, national and international athletes. The College boasts Australia's finest swimming program and is home to the St Peters Western Swim Club
