Be inspired this July

In 2016, at the age of 18, Lachie Smart became the youngest person in the world to fly solo around the earth.

Since returning from the flight Lachie has lived and worked in both Australia and the USA, speaking about his experiences, whilst developing a medical manufacturing company to become market leading in its area.

Lachie will share how he figured out his purpose, fundraised nearly half a million dollars and took on a challenge at the Olympic level of solo aviation adventure at an age no one had done before.

His presentation will focus on the ‘power of you’. You can’t know your purpose until you know yourself, your core values and what makes you unique. It wasn’t until he stopped living by everyone else’s rules, and started living by his own that he was able to start achieving his goal. During that process he came across some lessons (some easier learned than others!) such as using failures to be his stepping stone to success and the power of community. He can’t wait to share this with the group.
