Welcome to Term 4! As always, it is a delight to have staff and students back making our school hum. We have nine new students joining us this term, and we extend a warm welcome to each of them and their families. At the end of last term, our Year 6 students visited Canberra to learn about the Australian government and the history of our country. They explored Old and New Parliament House, Government House, The National Library, The War Memorial, The National Library, CSIRO, the Deep Space Centre, and many other interesting places. They learned about federation, fair elections, the passing of a bill in parliament, and the different responsibilities of local, state, and federal governments. Music
Congratulations to Primary students for their outstanding performances at the Arts Showcase held during the last week of Term 3. The morning began with a tour of classrooms, when parents were treated to displays of Art and French work, before meeting on the Concourse for a Music concert. Here, parents and friends were treated to a varied programme of instrumental and vocal music, with dancing and movement. All students gave animated performances.
