St Peters Lutheran College is an internationally focused school that provides co-educational opportunities for students from all parts of the globe. At St Peters, we consistently obtain exceptional academic results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP), the Queensland Certificate of Education, vocational education courses, and international benchmarks such as the Program for International Assessment (PISA) and the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS).
St Peters students also achieve excellent results in the national benchmark test for literacy and numeracy known as the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN).
St Peters is introducing the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program to complement the Australian Curriculum, and we share close ties with the University of Queensland and other tertiary organisations.
St Peters Lutheran College provides students and their families defined and clearly understood expectations. The Christian ethos informs what we do as an educational institution, and allows us to embrace and share our customs with all people regardless of their faith background. We welcome all young people into an atmosphere that values hope, peace and diversity.
A safe environment for students from all backgrounds, living at St Peters is a unique experience for girls and boys. The study centres allow for students to work beyond the normal school day with academic support, and the cocurricular program offers opportunities in Music, Sport and other cultural activities. Importantly, our pastoral care program helps students to overcome any issues that may occur as they live away from home.
At St Peters Lutheran College, we aspire to open doors to students from all over the world, and to educate for the future. St Peters engages with parents and their children at all levels within our local and global communities.
